Typed signed letter from Paul O. Nafe to Thomas W. Hotchkiss, dated December 6, 1932, on Christian Science Monitor letterhead, thanking Hotchkiss for pointing out an error in the Monitor regarding the date of the founding of Elmira College. A pencilled mss note at the bottom of the letter reads, "This, I am told, is the first College in the U.S. established for women only. T.W. Hotchkiss."
